The tension in the bedroom was palpable. After a long, stressful day at work, Charley, dressed in a deep blue silk blouse, finally snapped. She confronted her roommate, Louise, who was sprawled on the bed in a pink satin top and pleated pink skirt. Charley accused Louise of being a "bitch" all day, of making her life a misery, and of sabotaging her chances. Louise, ever the manipulator, offered a saccharine suggestion: "Let's talk about it."
But Charley wasn't in the mood for words. She wanted action. She made it clear that Louise needed to know her place in their pecking order, and that place was certainly not above her. Turning to this desire for power, she lunged across the bed. The offer to talk about it turned into a full-scale brawl. Laura’s head slammed on the red bed, before Laura’s wristed were grabbed and secured tightly by 6-inch black tape.
This had become a lesson in respect, pain and punishment. Laura tried to squirm away, but in one deft swoop, they all became restrained. They've been had was the sentiment. With her eyes wide with anger, she tried to figure out how she got into this position - But it was far too late.
Then came the gag. Laura didn't like it or approve and did her best to express her discomfort. However, there was no negotiating, only what was coming. And what was coming was that strap going tighter and tighter with no hope of reversing what was now in play. Her day had gone from shit to something way worse. As the camera pans, it's clear that it's not yet over, but what could a woman in her position now do? It was time to just submit to whatever came next.
