She was the guardian of the quiet halls, a symbol of security in her crisp, starched uniform. The late-night shift was a bore, filled with paperwork and the low hum of electronics. It was her domain, and she was in control. Or so she believed. From the shadows of the mundane office, a predator emerged. Before she could even register the threat, a hand clamped over her mouth, a cloth drenched in a sickeningly sweet chemical pressed against her face. Her struggle was brief, a pathetic flutter before darkness consumed her.

She doesn't wake, not yet. She is merely a pliant doll on the coarse blue carpet as her attacker works with cold efficiency. Her uniform, once a source of pride, is stripped from her body, tossed aside like a meaningless husk. Her skin is left bare and exposed to the cool office air. Unforgiving black tape is wrapped tightly around her wrists, then her ankles, securing her in a state of utter helplessness. A thick, folded gag is forced into her mouth and secured with the same black tape, silencing any protest she might have made upon waking.

Above her, the villain, her conqueror, calmly dresses in the stolen uniform. Each button fastened, the heavy belt cinched, is another layer of stolen identity, another nail in the coffin of the guard's authority. The impersonator is now in control, leaving the true officer bound, gagged, and naked on the floor of her own office—a secret, helpless trophy of a perfect takeover.
